The Canadian Assemblies of God
The Canadian Assemblies of God (CAOG), formerly known as the Italian Pentecostal Church of Canada, began as a ministry dedicated to serving the Italian community. Today, it embraces all Canadians, regardless of language, nationality, or race, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit across Canada and around the world, following the Biblical model of ministry as outlined in the New Testament Church.
CAOG is devoted to fulfilling a threefold mission: to serve as God’s instrument for evangelizing the world, to provide a unified body where people can worship God, and to act as a channel for God’s purpose in building a community of believers being transformed into the image of His Son.
In essence, our mission is to serve God through worship and work, to serve the world through evangelism and compassion, and to serve the church through fellowship, teaching, inspiration, and mutual support.
